HTML/CSS for Beginners
Code Club UKhas created a range of HTML & CSS projects for the absolute beginner to sink their teeth into.
There are a couple of taster projects available to all. However, most of the projects are available to Code Club members only.
To access the locked projects you will require a Code Club UK ID and PIN code. If you are a South Morningside Primary School parent we can provide you with these upon request.
Sometimes the best way to understand how a web page works is to play around with a working example.
CoderDojo Scotland has created just such an example for you to play with, a digital postcard, complete with well documented HTML, CSS & JavaScript that explains all aspects of its design for you to tweak and make your own.
Using CodePen (a tool for playing around with other people's web pages), simply click on 'fork' to create your own copy of the CoderDojo digital postcard. Start playing around with the HTML, CSS & JavaScript and watch the page's content style and interactive behaviour change before your eyes.
Khan Academy is a non-profit educational organization created with the aim of providing a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere.
